Working together with a dynamic team within the Engine Workshop, you would be responsible for stripping, inspecting and rebuilding the engine. In-house engine preparation to racing specification and maintaining accurate test and measurement records will also be among your responsibilities. If necessary you will be assisting the team during track side support at race and test events worldwide. You will take care of preparing the engine before the event, carrying out preparatory work for engine startup including leak test and accompanying vehicle running under the guidance of an engineer as well as follow up of test results. Furthermore you will be required to show a can-do attitude together with the ability to think out of the box.

 

The successful candidate will:

have a recognised apprenticeship (preferably in mechanics or similar) or experience to equivalent depth in a motorsport environment

display relevant working experience

show good mechanical skillsand have knowledge in engine repair and maintenance

have ideally already supported as engine build technician during motorsport events

have sound German and English language skills

be willing to travel frequently

be a team player who demonstrates a responsible and creative working style, work independently to high standards with a minimum of supervision, have distinctive interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to working hours as well as the ability to perform under pressure
