The successful candidate will take responsibility for design projects and related documentation of all gearbox and driveline components utilizing the latest material and production processes. Working together with a dynamic team in the Chassis Design Office you will undertake 2D-layouts, calculations, 3D design and development plus design of transmission sub-assemblies. The role also includes definition and follow-up of rig tests. Your duties will also include specifying and detailing production designs (including the respective tooling) and drawings as well as full documentation. An essential part of the role is to ensure on-time delivery of projects within agreed cost and time limits.


The successful candidate will:

have a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent

have at least 10 years experience in transmission design and development

display sound knowledge and relevant experience of motorsport transmission design in conjunction with good knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, materials, surface and heat treatment

have a substantial level of high performance components design

be proficient with CATIA V5 CAD system, FEM and the classical calculation methods

be a team player who demonstrates a responsible, analytical and creative working style with solid project management capabilities, good interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to working hours as well as the ability to deliver high quality to tight deadlines
