Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG) has strengthened its already-robust confidentiality precautions with the addition of completely private model shop and workshop spaces.

“Confidentiality for our clients is an absolute priority at TMG,” says Jens Marquardt, General Manager Business Development at TMG, the Home of High Performance.

TMG’s existing infrastructure provided robust protection for clients through an advanced door access system to secure every working area, exclusive work spaces, lockable private storage and dedicated servers to ensure complete data security.

But following the continuous improvement principle - which has guided TMG from World Rally, Le Mans and Formula 1 to its current status as one of Europe’s leading providers of specialist design, testing and production solutions - a series of enhanced measures have been undertaken.

Completely separate working areas, with client lockable doors, have been built within the wind tunnel model shop facility while the chassis workshop has also been upgraded. The existing private work spaces are now complimented by additional separate and secure preparation areas where projects can be kept 100% under wraps.

These upgrades are now operational and already being enjoyed by TMG’s existing clients.

“This latest upgrade takes TMG from ‘very good’ to ‘excellent’ when it comes to client confidentiality,” adds Marquardt. “But equally importantly it sends a clear message to existing and future clients that TMG will never be complacent about something so important to everyone in our industry.”
